Hiking around the world

Here I write about hikes from countries such as Canada, New Zealand and Nepal. I have a penchant for walking in the mountains, that provide me with outstandingly scenic views from high above. I also enjoy walking around beautiful lakes of gorgeous turquoise and blue, through deep, tall forests. Or on coastal paths, passing stunning sandy beaches, or the extraordinary deserts of Australia.

A tricky day hike up to Mt Ngauruhoe on the North Island of New Zealand.

A morning hike in the dry, dusty desert of Central Australia – short yet enthralling.
