Road trip: the Far North of New Zealand

I had three days to explore the far north, and although it involved a lot of driving to get there, it was well worth it for the rugged beaches on way to Cape Reinga.

Part one

The first part of the journey was from the Bay of Plenty to Northland, passing waterfalls, the Bay of Islands, on way to Cape Reinga.

Part two

After appreciating the view at Cape Reinga, the return trip featured great sand dunes, the Ninety Mile Beach, and rolling green hills.
